Featured Grants September 4-10

If you've been following the Grant Round Up for a while, you know some weeks are better than others. Unless you are in the high sciences, we're afraid this isn't a stellar week. (This is of course in no small part because we are nearing the end of the federal fiscal year on September 30th.)

The only notable opportunity not in scientific research is a Service Area Competition from HRSA in the Health Center Program. If you are familiar with this program and work in Community, Migrant, or Homeless health services, you'll want to check it out.

Health Resources Services Administration
Grant Title: Service Area Competition
Grant Info: https://www.grants.gov/view-opportunity.html?oppId=307872

Details:  Funding under the Health Center Program’s Service Area Competition (SAC) supports public and private nonprofit community-based and patient-directed organizations that provide primary health care services to the Nation’s medically underserved populations. The purpose of the program is to ensure continued access to affordable, quality primary health care services for communities and vulnerable populations currently served by the Health Center Program.

If you are looking for opportunities in scientific research, since it is a short list from just a few agencies, just check out the full list. It will only take a minute.
